Living with epilepsy isn’t only about seizures. It’s medication schedules, doctor appointments, and recognizing triggers. It’s explaining things to teachers and friends, navigating school, and listening to your body. Between all of those moments, Nova is still Nova: she laughs, dreams, and gets to be a girl.
Life Between the Moments

Chapter Four
Her Story Was the Spark. Their Stories Are the Reason.
Nova’s experience helped inspire Seize the Crown, but the organization does not belong to just one story. It serves the girl newly diagnosed, the one who has lived with epilepsy for years, and the girl who feels different and just wants to be understood. We are a community where every girl can walk into a room and never have to explain herself.
Chapter Three
Something Was Missing
While medical care is essential, there is a gap that medicine alone cannot bridge. Girls navigating neurological conditions often need a sense of representation, confidence, and true community a space where magic is still possible. Seize the Crown grew from recognizing this missing piece. It exists not to 'fix' Nova's journey, but to ensure she and every girl like her has the friendship and joy that every dreamer deserves.
A Note From Nova 👑
Hi, I’m Nova. I started Seize the Crown because I know what it feels like to go through something that other people don’t always understand. After I was diagnosed with epilepsy, there were days that felt confusing, scary, and really hard, even when I was trying to be strong.
I didn’t want other girls to feel like they had to go through that alone.
I wanted to create something that could remind them that someone understands, that what they’re feeling is real, and that they are strong, brave, and never alone.
The Story Is Still Being Written.
Every Crowned Girl has a story still unfolding—one that holds more than just appointments and diagnosis. Seize the Crown exists so these stories can be filled with friendship, confidence, laughter, and a strong community that rises together.
Strong Minds. Fearless Girls.
Your mind is strong. Your crown stays on.
